Historical Temples
Throughout history, many different temples have been built by the Israelite people. Visit the links below for more information about each of them.

- • The Wilderness Tabernacle of Moses
The first temple was built by Moses and the Tribes of Israel while they were wandering in the wilderness for forty years.
- • The Tabernacle at Shilo
After the Tribes of Israel had settled the land of Canaan, they left the Tabernacle set up in one place until the temple of Solomon was built.
- • The Temple of Solomon
This was a huge stone temple that was built by King Solomon intended to be a final resting place for the Ark of the Covenant. And large enough to accommodate the growing population of Israel.
- • The Second Temple
When the Tribes of Israel were taken into Babylon, the Temple of Solomon was partially destroyed. After many years, they were allowed to come back and rebuild it as best they could.
