Passover and Spring Retreat

Lighted Way Ministries will be hosting a Spring Retreat starting with Passover April 20 and Unleavened Bread April 21 and continuing with meetings to April 27,2008. This retreat is open to any who desire to attend. We do encourage you to make reservations with us, as it helps with meal preparations and planning to know how many will be with us.

The Cascade Ragtime Society

The Cascade Ragtime society invites everyone to join them for a fun-filled evening of music at Noah's Ark (411 NW Safari Rd. Winston, OR 97496.) Music begins at 5:30.

While the main instrument is piano, other acoustic instruments and singers may participate as well. The emphasis is on ragtime music, however, related music such as "pop" tunes, early jazz and classical music can also be performed.

Performers will find an enthusiastic audience for which to play. The cascade Ragtime Society has been meeting regularly for fourteen years and has many dedicated members. The musicians are a mix of amateurs and professionals, beginners and advanced, of all ages. The main purpose is to have fun and at the same time to support and promote early twentieth century American music. Plan to attend as either a performer or a listener.
